Acclaimed pianist Bruce Levingston returns to Mississippi for his first appearance at the Ford Center with the Brooklyn Rider String Quartet, the fabulous guest artists from his recent concerts in New York and Carnegie Hall. These great performers include the violinist Colin Jacobsen and his brother, cellist Eric Jacobsen, both protégés and performing partners of cellist Yo-Yo Ma, violist Nicholas Cords and violinist Johnny Gandelsman.
Joining Levingston and Brooklyn Rider is pianist Kimball Gallagher for an exciting program that includes Saint-Saens' beloved "Carnival of the Animals," Schumann's romantic piano quintet, Piazzolla's thrilling tangos and Liszt's famous "Hungarian Rhapsody."
